This hood fastener seal plate is designed to guide the hood release cable through the firewall, ensuring smooth operation and preventing wear. Made of durable rubber with a brass core, it replaces the original factory part #1337944 for 1949 Buick Roadmaster Series 70 and Super Series 50 models.
Installation is straightforward: remove the old seal plate from the firewall, route the cable through this new gasket, and secure it in place. This helps maintain proper cable tension and protects against chafing and moisture intrusion.
